The Dog Takes Over Part I
(Sunday Paper, Year IV, Issue 31)
Last week, we had a guest post from my friend Kevin.
He wrote about his love of dogs, and brought up the fact that a year ago he helped his dog Zoey write a guest post for the Sunday Paper.
And that got me and my daughters thinking, maybe Tate would like to try her hand (paw) at a Sunday Paper guest post, a rite of passage for everyone in the family.
She did.
Hi! I’m Tate, and you have probably heard all about me.
I have been at my house for a little bit more than a month and I like it here. My family is nice and they have good tasting grass in the backyard.
A couple of days after I arrived, I got some packages from Zoey. One contained some dental bones which I like, but I want to talk about the toy chicken that came in the other.
This chicken was terrifying. It squeaked way too loudly and it was out to get me. So we left it alone and that was that.
But about a week later, the chicken reappeared. I decided to be brave and face my fear, so I showed that chicken who was boss. After I yelled at the chicken, though, I felt kinda bad for it, so now I play with it like a normal toy. Although sometimes it is not very nice and it gets on my nerves.
Writing
*I am not very good at writing. This is my first real piece of writing, and my secretary Lillian is translating and writing it for me. But maybe one day I will write an autobiography.
Comedy
*What do you call a magical dog?
A labracadabrador.
*(Dad would probably want me to make sure I mention that he has another show at Exhibit ‘A’ next Saturday, August 10th, and you can buy tickets at this link.)
Notes and Interests
*I like eating grass.
*I actually like eating most things in nature.
*My name is short for tater tot.
*I may or may not have broken the chicken I told you about.
