2025 Week 11 To-Do
I’ve been telling you about the indoor work that needs to be done in some previous To-Do Lists…but the warmer weather has reminded me that there is outdoor work to be done as well.
I got a little start on it yesterday by trimming the bush in the back yard that you see pictured here. It’s always amazing how that thing grows back.
Nature, man.
I do my best yard work a little at a time. So I didn’t do much Saturday, but it was something. I was hoping to do more Monday, but it looks very rainy…so maybe I’ll get a little in later today.
As for what I will get done:
This Week’s To Do
As you read this I might be Running My First 5K of 2025. I’ll be telling you how it went later this week.
Friday’s a weird day - the girls have no school but I’ll have work. That night is the Annual Fantasy Baseball Draft, which we’ll be doing on a Zoom call. Always a very exciting night, whether I’ve prepared or not.
Saturday my middle daughter has a Dance Performance. I’ll be seeing some of my family, who are coming for the show.
This Week’s May Do
We bought the paint for the painting project I’ve mentioned in previous To-Do Lists. I might Begin Painting this week, especially if Monday is rainy and my writing is in OK shape. But at least when I’m ready to do it, I have the materials.
There’s an outside chance I’ll See My Brother on Friday. He’s in town for a show. Before I got the job I had a lot more flexibility for lunch get-togethers. I kind of forget that’s not the case anymore.
Similarly, I’m not home all day to Watch the NCAA Tournaments, but I’ll see if I can tune in to the afternoon and evening games Thursday and Friday before camping out in front of the TV all weekend.
Let’s see how last week shook out: (You can see what I wrote last week by clicking here.)
Last Week’s To-Do
The first full week of the new routine shook out pretty well, I think.
As much as I sometimes dread sitting through the middle school/high school performances, they are usually pretty worthwhile. This one was good…and not all that long.
As far as I know all birthdays were happy.
Last Week’s May-Do
I told you about the painting…and I will be set for a season of Mets baseball - I bought my MLB.TV.
