2025 Week 12 To-Do

A screenshot of the Dodgers-Cubs game Tuesday morning.

Well, we did it.

That long stretch of open time between the end of football season and late March has been bridged.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the Dodgers and Cubs played games in Tokyo to kick off the 2025 season.

I had to go to work, but I could spend a little time while I had breakfast and got ready to start the day watching the games, which started at 6am.

It was a nice little appetizer for what’s coming this week, when the rest of the teams start their seasons, and I’ll have baseball almost every day until October.

Here’s more about that and what else is going on this week:

This Week’s To Do

  • Opening Day! The Mets’ 4pm start is after I’m home from work so I’ll be Watching the Mets on Thursday…and again on Friday and again on Saturday. They’re off Sunday, which is weird. But it feels good to have baseball to watch.

  • I have an Oil Change scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Hopefully they can also change the batteries in my key fobs. And hopefully this is the last thing I have to take care of with my car until the fall.

  • Kathy’s away for just a couple of days this time. But since this is the second time this month I’m not going crazy with Meals For The Girls. Hot Dogs for Opening Day and we’re likely getting Wendy’s on Friday.

This Week’s May Do

  • Maybe this is the week I Paint Downstairs? Don’t know. It’ll happen soon. Maybe during the baseball games since I’ll be down here watching them anyway.

Let’s see how last week went, and as always you can click here to see more details from last week’s to-do list:

Last Week’s To Do

  • The 5k was great. Did you already read about it? If not, you can here.

  • I’ll have more to tell you about the fantasy baseball draft this week, but it was fun Friday night.

  • Spent time with my family and enjoyed the dance show. It’s always a lovely event.

Last Week’s May Do

  • I did not begin painting…but I am thinking about it a lot. As I said above, soon.

  • Though I did not get to Matt’s show, he did stop by on his way from a western Mass show to a Newton, Mass show and we had a nice quick visit. He left, and then the rest of my family was here for the dance performance.

  • I did not see a lot of Thursday’s first day of the tournament, but I made up for that on Friday and I plan on watching a bunch of the men and women’s games today.
