2025 Week 14 To-Do

It took a while but last week I finally got a notice that my shoulder x-rays had made their way into my on-line portal.

You may have read about my emergency room visit a few weeks ago.

Everything has been fine - the recovery went just as the doctor said it would.

It got a little worse and then after a few days started to get better.

I haven’t done a whole lot of heavy lifting with my arms yet, but I imagine if I did it would be fine.

So I just thought I’d share the image here because x-rays are pretty cool.

This Week’s To Do

  • It’s outside clean-up time. The first city-wide leaf pickup is this week, and there will be another next week. So in my free moments this week I’ll be Putting Another Leaf Bag or Two Together. The yard waste center opened on Friday, too (I did a couple of drop-offs on Saturday), so there might be another dump or two there next weekend.

  • I haven’t watched a ton of college sports all season…some of the NCAA Tournaments, but not as much as usual, probably because of when the baseball season started. But I’ll be Watching the Women’s Championship Game later today for sure…probably not the men’s because it’ll be on too late Monday. BUT I will try to tune in for the BU Hockey semifinal game on Thursday too…and hopefully that championship game on Saturday.

This Week’s May Do

  • I’ve started to talk to the girls about taking some Sunday trips to New York to watch the Mets. I won’t be going down as often as I have the past couple of years, but maybe a game with each of them. I think this week I’ll start Exploring Tickets.

  • I’ve prepped the walls, I’ve moved some stuff…It’s Painting Time. Maybe.

And here’s the catch-up on last week’s list, which you can read in more detail here:

Last Week’s To Do

  • The April menu was set for April 1st. Not every meal has been a hit thus far, though. I really like this system. It makes shopping each week so much easier too.

  • As I mentioned, the college work will be happening every day from now until the end of the semester at the end of the month/first few days of May.

  • I unintentionally had the opportunity to take it easy because I stayed home from work Tuesday a little sick. Still didn’t sleep as much as I would have liked but there have been naps.

Last Week’s May Do

  • I haven’t utilized Apple TV any more yet…but Kathy just informed me we also have Peacock for a little while longer. So I will have no shortage of stuff to watch and write about, that’s for sure.

  • See this week’s May Do re: painting/prep...and we’ll try it again.
